Give us a picture of the Gainsboro Pleco and get credit
Every fish on Save the Little Fish is a card, and the photo is the heart of it. We don't have one for the Gainsboro Pleco yet. If we use yours, your name goes on the card for as long as the card exists.
How to send it
- Pick your best shot: a living fish, sharp, from the side or the top, ideally in water. Send the full-size file, not a screenshot.
- Email it to sean@treefrog.ca with the subject “Photo: Gainsboro Pleco (L013)”.
- Tell us the name you'd like on the card.
The button opens your email app with the subject and details filled in. If nothing happens, copy the address above and attach the photo yourself.
What you agree to when you send a photo
- You took the photo yourself, or you own the rights to it.
- You're 18 or older, or a parent or guardian is sending it for you.
- There are no people's faces in it.
- You keep your copyright and can still use the photo anywhere you like.
- You give Save the Little Fish a permanent, worldwide, free licence to use the photo on the website, in apps, on printed cards and games, and in Save the Little Fish merchandise and promotion. That includes cropping, resizing and colour-correcting it, and letting our printers and partners use it for Save the Little Fish.
- You agree not to object to those edits. In return, we always credit you with the name you give us.
- We may choose another photo, or replace yours later with a different one. If yours is used, your name goes on the card.
